After Fieldwork

I just back now from my fieldwork. It was kinda tiring since it involved sales na rin, and lifting heavy frames. What scares me the most is that my boss has indirectly given me the responsibility of safeguarding his valuable paintings.

Speaking of which, I think that it's high time for me to take other responsibilities na rin. No, I'm not going to start a family, silly. I mean, I have to stand up more to my choices and beliefs. The only thing that I don't like is that fucking replacement lamp.

Hay.

Bored With Teeners

Lately I've been trying to avoid legally aged teens and twinks (early twenties). Sure, some of them look really good and horny and yummy and playful.

But in the end, experience matters.

I can't take the whinings, the incessant unreasonably ridiculous demands, and immaturity. Sure, some of them think and act like mature people, but you get the best of them most of the time (just like what I do). All the while underneath is a naive child unable to control their raging emotions and hormones.

Sometimes you want peace and quiet, or a relationship that does not exact much toll on your private time.

North Korea Has Nuclear Weapons

Is my dream of an Asian nuclear war going to happen anytime soon?

No Remorse

Recently, the old hag who often sexually harrass me when I was a kid had died a few months after the vehicle-for-hire they used slammed into a provincial bus along SLEX. I don't feel any pity for her, even if she was the one who stayed with my mom in the hospital.

When she was still alive, she would always, always go to our house and "ask" for something. Actually, it was more of demand. I felt that my parents' "debt of gratitude" was never repaid because she kept on asking and they would give in to her demands which was really annoying. (She also had annoying kids and my sister, who grew up with them, recently had to lambast one of them because she was being asked for something they aren't worthy of. It's rather complicated.)

So when my younger sister told me about the hag's fortunate demise, in my heart I knew that this (my) world was happy to get rid of the likes of her.

No remorse for an end to her sad excuse for a sorry existence.

Typhoon "Milenyo"

Yesterday was scary because of the very powerful typhoon.
Still no electricity on some parts of the Metro, and water comes on a trickle, at least only to where I am staying at right now.
I went to the office yesterday. And outside the windows you could see the wind smashing against trees and buildings. Part of the PeopleSupport building was damaged. Trees, leaves and branches were destroyed. It wasn't a rain-heavy typhoon. It carried a lot of wind.
I waited for the rain and the wind to slow down a bit. I thought that I was going to die if I braved the weather. Thank God I hesitated.
Back at the village, the usual tree-lined Amorsolo St was littered with felled trees and fruits that smashed on the road. There was no electricity.
And I'm glad that my family is okay.
